Privacy Policy

AI Voice Agent is operated by BookAI Studio, a DBA of BrightSpan Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the service collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

When you start a call, your browser asks for microphone permission and streams your voice audio to our server for the duration of the call. The service has no user accounts and no sign-in, and we do not ask for your name, email or payment information. Like most websites, our servers keep standard operational logs (such as IP address, timestamps and pages requested) for security and reliability.

How your voice is processed

Your audio is forwarded in real time to Deepgram, which transcribes your speech to text and synthesizes the agent's spoken replies. The transcript of your conversation is sent to OpenAI, which generates the receptionist's responses and, when you end the call, a structured summary of any reservation or order you discussed. Audio is streamed through our server and is not recorded or stored by us; the conversation transcript is held only in server memory for the length of your call and is discarded when the call ends.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: Deepgram (speech-to-text and text-to-speech) and OpenAI (conversation responses and call summaries). We do not sell personal information. Please do not speak personal or sensitive information (such as payment card numbers or health details) into the demo; reservations and orders made here are demonstrations only and are not transmitted to any real restaurant.

Retention and your choices

Because call audio and transcripts are not stored, there is no call recording for us to delete after the fact. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for security and reliability. You can decline or revoke microphone access at any time in your browser settings, which ends the service's access to your voice.
